At Pixel XL, time flies by quickly, fun, and most importantly, actively. There’s plenty of laughter, joy, and also teamwork or… competition. Both kids and adults have a great time here. You can trust us because we saw it with our own eyes and then tested it ourselves. Haven’t heard of Pixel XL yet? Jump on the mat with us. Just remember: the floor is lava (at least in some places).
There are plenty of attractions waiting for you in the Silesian Voivodeship. You must see them!
Pixel XL – what is it and how does it work?
Let’s start with the basics. Do you know what “Pixel XL” is? We immediately clarify that we’re not referring to the well-known smartphone from Google, but to a fantastic place on the map of Katowice that introduced us to a completely new dimension of entertainment. Pixel XL occupies an area of over 1,000 m² in the heart of the city. In this vast space, the creators have designated 14 game rooms. Each has its own lounge, table, and—most importantly—a game mat. So, when you come to Pixel, you reserve one room exclusively for your entire group, and no one enters “your territory” during that time (unless you feel like integrating with another team).
Each room is equipped with an interactive mat that, once the game starts, becomes a colorful and illuminated game board. Depending on the chosen game, participants need to walk, run, or jump on it to win. This is accompanied by a lot of emotions, as the tasks are not easy at all. The heated atmosphere is further enhanced by the interior design, where modern design blends with retro style. We guarantee that fans of computer games, escape rooms, or Cybermachina will definitely enjoy the vibe of Pixel XL.
Pixel XL – what games can I play?
You already know what Pixel XL looks like and what it’s all about, but we still haven’t revealed what and how you can play. Well, you get to choose and launch the games yourself! How? Each room is equipped with a tablet (as shown in the picture below), which displays a list of games. Depending on the selected challenge, you might have to: jump over a virtual skipping rope, play tug-of-war, dance to the rhythm of the music, bounce a Pong ball, find your way out of a maze, answer general knowledge questions, or repeat movement sequences. There’s no need to worry about struggling with the games or not knowing what to do once they start. The system is incredibly easy to use. Plus, when you arrive, a Pixel XL staff member will welcome you, explain all the rules in detail, and will be happy to assist you if needed.
Pixel XL offers an extensive catalog of over 30 games tailored to various age groups and skill levels, ensuring that a single visit isn’t enough to experience them all. The games are highly diverse; some test reflexes and agility, while others require strategic thinking and collaboration. There are also games that assess your knowledge about the world or even about each other. One standout game is inspired by the famous “Squid Game” series. Although our lives weren’t at stake, the excitement was palpable, and we felt a surge of adrenaline. Pixel XL provided us with a multitude of positive experiences.

At Pixel XL, endorphins surge wildly, smiles come naturally, and your mood instantly improves. We’ve seen little kids with their parents, groups of friends, and even one couple (us :D) here—all having a fantastic time, and no one seemed bored.
