Manufaktura in Łódź is not an ordinary shopping mall. It’s a factory of good energy and positive emotions. A place where you can spend the whole day actively and not be bored for a moment. We recently checked it ourselves. And we’ll definitely come back here.

Manufaktura Łódź – photos
Especially for you, we have collected the five most interesting attractions of Manufaktura in Łódź. Come see them with us. Each of them simply rules in its category. If you like adrenaline, sports emotions, arcade games or museums, read on. Or at least look at the pictures. 🙂
Number 1 – the zip line on the roof of Manufaktura
Opening hours:
- Monday: closed.
- Tuesday – Friday: 16:00-21:00.
- Saturday: 14:00-21:00.
- Sunday: 14:00-20:00.
We start with the most interesting attraction in our opinion: the zip line. Every time we passed through Manufaktura, we stopped for a moment and watched the people flying above our heads. But we always lacked the time (and maybe the courage) to try it ourselves. Finally the opportunity came. The afternoon was slow and warm, and the sun was just about to set. (Protip: this is the most spectacular time of day to go ziplining.)
The starting station is located on the roof of Manufaktura, specifically above the Museum of the Factory. To get here, you need to go to the Cinema City building. On the left side of the entrance, you will find an elevator that will take you to the gates of an unearthly, sky-high adventure. When you stand on the roof, be sure to look around and admire the industrial panorama of Łódź all around.
Once we had enjoyed the views, the momentous moment came: the entire two-person Travel-Mates team decided to soar in the air. It’s basically sliding down a steel cable, but ‘soaring into the air’ sounds much more epic. The lovely Mrs. Klaudia gave us a short instruction and then put us in harnesses and helmets. That made us feel as safe as possible. Besides, when you stand on the roof you will see for yourself that there is really nothing to be afraid of.
Once you’re standing on the steps, you’re only one step away from adventure. When you do it, you will feel the real wind in your hair and the unbearable lightness of… flight. At one point you will be hanging as much as 15 meters above the ground. The altitude and speed of the ride will create a large dose of adrenaline. Before you know it, you will be on the other side of Manufaktura – specifically at the final station, located on the roof of the former weaving mill building. Did we like it? Well, the best proof is probably the fact that each of us used this attraction twice.
Number 2 – Arena Laser Games
Opening hours:
- Monday – Saturday: 10:00-22:00.
- Sunday: 10:00-21:00.
The next place we visited was the Arena Laser Games. We explain to those who have never used a similar attraction: it is painless and safe paintball. You don’t get hit with bullets here and you don’t heal bruises later. Special rifles emit a beam of light that precisely hits points designated on the vest. A successful shot puts your opponent out of the game for a few seconds.
The whole game takes place in a maze with an area of 250 square meters. The room is dark, so you can feel a little thrill. Only the reflective elements of the set design and the vests of the participants shine here. In addition to the walls, there are various types of obstacles in the maze: crates, barrels and tires. You have to be very careful not to get shot by an opponent who unexpectedly jumps out from behind one of them.
Laser paintball is a really demanding entertainment for the body and mind. First of all, you must be fast, agile and clever. Here you have to constantly anticipate your opponents’ movements, devise a strategy (individual or team) and not fall into a trap. Reflexes alone are not enough, logical thinking and analytical skills will be useful. Depending on the game variant, it is also worth focusing on communication skills.
At Arena Laser Games we felt like we were playing a live computer game. Great decorations and sound effects do a really good job. It is the perfect place to organize a birthday or company retreat. We guarantee that all who like physical activities will leave here satisfied. The only downside to all this fun? Time flies way too fast here.
Number 3 – amusement park Jazda!Park
Opening hours:
- Monday: 10:00-00:00.
- Tuesday – Thursday: 10:00-01:00.
- Friday: 10:00-02:00.
- Saturday: 10:00-02:00.
- Sunday: 10:00-01:00.
And now go to Jazda!Park, where you have 600 square meters of great fun at your disposal. You know, it’s like a miniature of Las Vegas. 😉 But seriously – the Jazda!Park amuseument park is one of the largest places of this type in Łódź. Before your visit, be sure to break the piggy bank and prepare nany coins (specifically two-zloty and five-zloty coins).
We were drawn into the whirlwind of competition primarily by arcade games. In Jazda!Park you will find a total of over 50 slot machines, including arcade games and simulators. After just a few minutes of a crazy rally on a speeder, Patryk discovered the spirit of a motorcyclist. Wiolczi focused on sports and logic games, which there is no shortage of here. Of course, we played a few obligatory games of air hockey and table football together (this is already our tradition).
It doesn’t matter whether you come to Jazda!Park alone or with a larger team – you definitely won’t be bored. If your friends, family or partners like to spend their time actively, take them here for a birthday or a date. You have our word that they will like it. For groups, we especially recommend booking billiard tables (there are as many as 10 of them here), as well as a darts or mini bowling tournament.
When you feel tired of too many attractions, be sure to take advantage of the bar’s rich offer. Hot and cold snacks, as well as non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are available to order. Also check current promotions on the Jazda!Park website. Attractive packages of games and snacks are at your fingertips, sometimes you just need to reach for them. Just like the yellow coupons that slot machines will print for you (as in the photo above). The appropriate number of coupons gives you the opportunity to win prizes. What? See for yourself.
Number 4 – playroom for children Bajkowy Labirynt
Opening hours:
- Monday – Saturday: 10:00-22:00.
- Sunday: 12:00-20:00.
And now we will show you the place where we went back in time and experienced a second youth. Very early youth. Were we the oldest guests of the Bajkowy Labirynt Entertainment Center? Surely. But who would care! Especially when you can feel like a kid again, go down the slide, complete an obstacle course or jump on a trampoline.
Bajkowy Labirynt is actually a well-known nationwide chain, whose branches can be found in many cities. Toddlers, preschoolers, older children and young teenagers will find space here that is appropriately adapted to their needs. For the latter, Bajkowy Labirynt has prepared a special Ro-An Ninja obstacle course, similar to the one from the Ninja Warrior TV show. Who will take up the challenge?
In addition to physical and interactive games, the creators of the playroom also focus on creative activities and scientific workshops. Special events for entire families are organized here. St. Nicholas Day, St. Andrew’s Day, Halloween, carnival ball – celebrating these occasions among peers is every child’s dream. Bajkowy Labirynt also has birthday rooms.
We mentioned great attractions for children, but we forgot about something equally important. The Bajkowy Labirynt Entertainment Center offers a chance for a little respite for parents who are tired of life and taking care of their children. If your children are over 3 years old and are relatively independent, you can leave them under the care of animators and go shopping or sip coffee in the gastro zone. And life will immediately become more beautiful!
Number 5 – MS2 – Art Museum 2
Opening hours:
- Monday: closed.
- Tuesday: 9:00-16:00.
- Wednesday – Sunday: 12:00-18:30.
We showed you several places in Manufaktura where you can actively spend your time. But not everyone likes aerial fun on a steel rope, running with a gun or arcade games. We recommend these people to visit one of the three museums located in Manufaktura. These are: the Museum of Factory, the Museum of the City of Łódź, the Museum of Art in Łódź. We only had enough time for one of them.
The choice fell on the last option. It is worth explaining at this point that the Museum of Art in Łódź is located in three locations. MS1 at ul. Więckowskiego 36 is the main building, MS2 on the premises of Manufaktura is a branch, and the Herbst Palace at ul. Przędzalniana 72 is a historical house. We have an interesting fact for you: the Museum of Art in Łódź, opened in 1930, is the oldest institution of this type in Poland where you can admire modern art.
But let’s move on to the MS2 we visited, which was established in 2008. It is located in a former weaving mill building. The interior of the building is beautiful, modern and well-kept, but you can feel the spirit of 19th-century Łódź. Brick and wooden decor elements create a unique atmosphere. In addition to permanent exhibitions featuring 20th and 21st century art collections, MS2 also organizes temporary exhibitions.
Unfortunately, due to copyright reasons, we cannot show you the museum’s collections. However, we can guarantee that if you like non-obvious, requiring interpretation, and at the same time somewhat raw works of art, then MS2 is for you. In addition to exhibition rooms, the Art Museum also has a conference and educational room and a museum bookstore. Protip from us: when you walk the corridors of museums, pay attention to the inscriptions and paintings around you. Nothing is accidental here.

Manufaktura in Łódź – interesting facts and tips
- At the end of the 19th century, in the place of the current Manufaktura shopping mall, there was the largest factory in the Kalisz-Masovian industrial district. The turbulent history of the 20th century (world wars and economic transformation in the 1990s in Poland) caused the cotton empire to collapse.
- If you look at the current Manufaktura building and archival photos of production plant, you will certainly notice that the shape of some of the buildings has been reproduced almost identically.
- Keep checking the calendar of events happening in Manufaktura. In the summer, you can sunbathe on the beach. Sand, deckchairs, a beach bar and the opportunity to play volleyball will make you not feel like going to the seaside or lake. 😉 In the winter season, there is an ice rink here. You can skate on it as much as you want. Manufaktura market square is also a place where numerous events are organized (check for example Łódź Summer Festival).
Manufaktura Łódź – reviews
- Patrix – 10/10. This is my favorite shopping center in Poland. In other mall we have shops, restaurants, a cinema and billiards/bowling. Manufaktura in Łódź offers dozens of attractions and activities! We managed to visit 5, but there are many more of cool places (not related to shopping). To take advantage of all the attractions, we would have to spend a week in Manufaktura. There is also a beach bar, a beach and the opportunity to play volleyball on the sand. This is a unique shopping center.
- Wiolczix – 10/10. I visit Łódź, but rather rarely. Until my last visit, it seemed to me that Manufaktura was mainly shops, restaurants and a cinema. And of course, that zip line that you can see from the bottom, but somehow I never got around to using it. Until this holiday! It turns out that Manufaktura is a mega-entertaining place – both for children and adults. A visit to a shopping mall has never provided us with so much joy, endorphins and adrenaline. Sincere recommendation!
